Please read these terms before joining the waitlist or placing a pre-order for The Manor. By submitting your information you agree to these terms.
These terms are provided for informational purposes. Nordic Nuances recommends consulting a qualified legal advisor for advice specific to your situation.
1. Pre-Order & Waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and does not create a binding purchase contract. When the first batch is ready, waitlist members will receive a 48-hour pre-order link by email. Payment is collected only at the time you confirm your pre-order.
2. FTC Shipping Disclosure
Nordic Nuances has a reasonable basis to believe the first batch of The Manor will ship in May 2026. If we are unable to ship by that date, we will:
- Notify you by email before the revised ship date
- Offer you the option to cancel your pre-order for a full refund — no questions asked
- Provide an updated estimated ship date
If no response is received within 30 days of a delay notification, your order will be automatically cancelled and fully refunded in accordance with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435).
3. Returns & Refunds
Manor candles are hand-poured to order. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unburned candles in original packaging. If your candle arrives damaged or has a structural defect, email [email protected] with a photo within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or full refund.
4. Fire Safety (ASTM F2058)
The Manor is a candle product. Comply with these warnings at all times:
- Burn within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from flammable objects. Maintain a minimum 12-inch clearance from drapes, bedding, and other combustibles.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Trim all three wicks to 5mm (3/16 inch) before each burn.
- Allow the candle to burn until the melt pool reaches the edge on the first burn — typically 2–3 hours.
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop burning when 1/2 inch (12mm) of wax remains.
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. The base warms during extended burns.
- Do not move while lit — the wax pool is hot and the candle is heavy (25 lb / 11 kg).
These warnings meet the ASTM F2058 standard for candle fire safety.
5. California Proposition 65 Notice
⚠️ WARNING (California): Burning candles produces combustion by-products including carbon monoxide and trace particulates known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Burn in a well-ventilated area. For more information: P65Warnings.ca.gov.
6. EU Consumer Rights — Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU; UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
To exercise the right of withdrawal, email [email protected] with the subject line "Withdrawal" before the 14-day period expires. The candle must be returned in original, unburned condition. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective.
The withdrawal right does not apply to custom or made-to-order goods, but it does apply to The Manor because it is a standard product shipped from stock.
7. EU Legal Guarantee
Under EU law (Directive 2019/771), consumers have a legal guarantee of conformity for at least 2 years from delivery. If The Manor is not in conformity with the contract (e.g., arrives structurally damaged or does not match the described specification), you may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract at no charge.

8. AI Content Disclosure
Some images used in the development of this website were created or enhanced with AI-assisted tools. Any such images on the public site are labelled or described accordingly in their alt text where technically feasible. Nordic Nuances does not use fully AI-generated photographs to misrepresent the physical product (per EU AI Act Article 50).
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
10. Privacy Choices
If you would like to opt out of the sharing of your personal data with advertising platforms (including the Facebook / Meta Pixel, where active), email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Data."
This right is available to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Texas (TDPSA), Virginia (CDPA), and other US states with active consumer data-privacy laws. See our Privacy Policy for full details of what data is collected and how it is used.
