Privacy
This page explains what happens to the personal details you give us when you buy The Manor or contact us. It is short on purpose.
Who we are
Nordic Nuances is the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include in your message.
- Order & payment information. When you place an order, our payment provider Helcim collects the details needed to take payment and ship your order: your name, billing and shipping address, email, and card details, which you enter directly into Helcim's secure checkout. Nordic Nuances never receives or stores your full card number.
- Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It does not use cookies and does not collect any personal information or cross-site identifiers — only aggregate, anonymous traffic counts.
Why we collect it
- To take payment for your order and ship it to you.
- To respond to your messages.
- To understand aggregate site traffic (Plausible, anonymous).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only pass your details to the service providers who help us operate (listed below), under contract.
Legal basis (for EU / UK visitors)
- Taking payment for and fulfilling your order: necessary to perform our contract with you.
- Responding to your messages and protecting against fraud/abuse: our legitimate interests.
- Keeping order and tax records: compliance with our legal obligations.
- Analytics (Plausible): because it is cookieless and collects no personal data, no consent is required.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:
- Helcim — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email (order confirmations).
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
- Plausible — cookieless, anonymous analytics.
These providers process data in the United States and the European Union: Helcim and Resend in the US; Plausible is EU-hosted (Germany); Cloudflare operates globally.
How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: for as long as required by law (typically several years).
- Messages you send us: kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.
- Analytics: aggregate and anonymous — not tied to you.
Your rights
If you are in the EU / UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and to correct it. Email us and we will respond within about 45 days. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — if that ever changes, we will add a "Your Privacy Choices" control here first.
Children
This site and product are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Payment security is handled by Helcim, and the site is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can contact us first at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a regulator:
- EU: your national Data Protection Authority.
- UK: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk.
- US: the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) — ftc.gov.

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
