Privacy

This page explains what happens to the personal details you give us — mainly your name and email address. It is short on purpose.

Who we are

Nordic Nuances is the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, email [email protected].

What we collect

Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only pass your details to the service providers who help us operate (listed below), under contract.

Legal basis (for EU / UK visitors)

Where the data goes

We are based in the United States, so if you contact us from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your data will be processed in the US.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact and order details for as long as needed to handle your purchase, and we may keep basic sales records longer where tax or accounting rules require it. Beyond that, we don't keep your data longer than necessary. Analytics data (if active) is kept according to the tool's own retention settings. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, though we may need to retain limited sales records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

EU / EEA / UK visitors (GDPR). You can ask us to:

Email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.

US visitors (CCPA / CPRA and other state laws). If you are a resident of California, Texas, Virginia, or another US state with an active consumer privacy law, you have the right to:

Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. We'll respond within the time your state law requires (generally 45 days). We do not currently sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — if that ever changes, we will add a clear "Your Privacy Choices" opt-out and update this page.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we limit access to your details to what's needed to help you.

Complaints

If you think we've handled your data badly:

Changes

If anything material here changes, we'll update the date at the top. The current version is the one you're reading.
